If you don't know already buying a home is a very big and important decision, one that must not be taken lightly. And as my wife and I began the journey which now has led us into our wonderful new house, we just wanted to take this opportunity to share that it would not have happened as easily as it did without the guidance and support of the PCHM family. Since the beginning I knew from previous experience and stories from friends that every single decision you make in this process can lead to many possible outcomes and/or pitfalls, some which can be very costly financially speaking. I knew that this ever so complicated home buying process evolves year after year, and so early on I knew I wanted to be in the strongest position possible as a buyer, and so I had to make decisions. To start off right, I would need to secure a loan right off the bat and most importantly work with professionals that would not be "learning" on me, but a team that would have expertise and experience that I needed to move in a forward direction. In the end, this criteria, would eventually lead me to Mark O'toole/broker and save me a lot of time, money and the running around that transpires during this process. Why did I choose PCHM? Well, in regards to my lender, I based my decision on 3 things really, 1.) Reviews - For PCHM they were overwhelmingly good if not great. 2) Professionalism, which was reflected in the reviews, a very informative website and materialized in person. And 3) Locality and Accessibility, their Oceanside office was only going to be 10 Minutes away if I needed anything. And so, I put my paperwork together, submitted my initial loan application online and then in person, and within a day was promptly pre-approved for a loan, with the criteria that I requested. Eventually, as the process moved forward due to Mark's resources and commitment I came to find out that he always had my best interest in mind. And as you will find out, Mark and his team will make every effort to work around you, be diligent and use all tools at their disposal to make it happen. In the end, and throughout the whole process Mark and his office staff were always diligent, informative and committed to ensure positive results. Now about my Agent, Kellie Schull, also at PCHM. As you might know, many people are important to make a close on a house happen. And key to this, is a buyer's agent. I initially had not chosen a Buyer's Agent when I approached Mark, since I wanted to secure my loan first. But after inquiring from a friend who is an agent as well, and having him advise me to choose one that has worked with the lender prior, in order to facilitate the process, I decided to try one from PCHM. Eventually this led me to working with Kellie Schull. At first, I was unsure as to what to expect, but very soon this fear turned into an unexpected delight. In short, I came to find out that Kelli was professional, knowledgeable, nice, very accessible and always looking after my interest, the buyer. All the things you could want in a buyer's agent. She was able to write up a strong yet reasonable offer that was promptly accepted, the Purchase Agreement contained all the legal wording that was in my favor. And in the end, she was able to negotiate favorable terms, and unexpected bonuses that became part of the deal. I can tell you first hand, Kellie made this experience as pleasant as possible. Thank you PCHM. Your expertise and professionalism were invaluable thorough the whole process. And for everyone else, if you want to cross the home buying process bridge with minimal hiccups in a time efficient manner with your interest in mind and as stress less as possible, I would kindly ask you to consider Mark and his team at PCHM for your home buying needs. And no, I was not paid for this review. Sincerely, Aurelio and Nadia Rosales
